SCHIFFBAU: 8. November 2026

In its anniversary season under the theme “Ghosts and Spirits”, the Schiffbau transforms into Scaryland shortly after Halloween. From morning until evening, a thrillingly diverse programme for all ages awaits you throughout the Schauspielhaus Zürich, the Moods concert venue, Restaurant LaSalle and the Schiffbau Foyer.

From mystery games and spooky stories to concerts, readings, talks, special editions of the popular formats IMMER WIEDER SONNTAG and KUNST ALS EXIL, as well as dance and acting workshops and a big roller-skating party, the day offers plenty to watch, listen to, take part in and discover.

Join a guided tour of the Schiffbau and discover fascinating stories from the Schauspielhaus’s hundred-year history. Take a look inside the workshops and venture behind the scenes – quite literally. Who knows, perhaps one ghost or another from times long past might even make an appearance ...?

As the grand finale, the Schauspielhaus ensemble will gaze into the crystal ball during the ABO EXTRA programme preview event, presenting selected excerpts from upcoming premieres and programme highlights over the weeks ahead.
